The marching band had a successful last competition of the season at the Ozark Mountain Marching Festival in Reeds Spring. The band placed second in class and would have made finals if they were not cancelled due to rain.

Congratulations to the Speech/Debate team on their wins at the Carthage Novice Speech/Debate tournament this past weekend. Emilee Coffey won 4th place in Original Oratory, Castle Speiker placed 8th in Informative Speaking and missing advancing to finals by two placements. Skyler Ross placed 9th in Original Oratory and missed advance to finals by three placements.
In debate, the Public Forum team of Skyler Ross and Emily Buckley went 3-2 placing them 11th overall. The Public Forum team of Castle Speiker and Emilee Coffey went 1-4. Congratulations to the team on their wins and good luck as they prepare for their next tournament in two weeks at Republic High School.

The Pride of Aurora marching band had a successful day in our first festival in two years at the Carl Junction Festival. The band placed first in our class and Olivia Ray won best drum major and we won best guard. We made finals and placed 9th overall.
